What will Aged Care Services look like in the future? How is technology assisting to provide better service? Are we ready to take advantage of technology? At Thomas Holt, we are committed to continual improvement and to be at the forefront of industry changes that can help us provide better service.

Robotics, sensors and scanners, wearable monitors….this is not the future, this is now. Within the next 12 months these technology based offerings will be used at Thomas Holt.

What is Consumer Directed Care

Much focus for the past 12 months has also been in response to the changes in Aged Care legislation which has dramatically changed the way in which we deliver our Home Care Services. Consumer Directed Care (CDC) and the deregulation of (CDC) Licenses in late February means changes for everyone. Thomas Holt is very excited about these changes and have been working hard behind the scenes all year to be ready.

So what does Consumer Directed Care mean? What are the changes and how will these changes affect you and your family?

Click here to contact us via email about the changes or contact us on 9545 2222 to discuss your specific circumstances.

Construction continues on the old Seymour Shaw Court building located on Acacia Rd Kirrawee. Now that the slabs have been poured for the western wing the building is coming up very quickly. We have already had the privilege of a sneak peek into some of the rooms. Generously sized at 30sqm each with floor to ceiling windows that can be open to the fresh air, they are going to be a beautiful living space for our valued residents.

Despite the rain we are still on track for completion on or around late October early November. So it is likely we will have a Christmas opening.
